NOTRE PLANÈTE N’EST PAS À USAGE UNIQUE│ATELIERS, TALKS, FOOD

On the occasion of the National Recycling Day (18 March), &Repeat, the new anti-pollution reflex of foodies, will take over Fluctuart to set up its event “Our Planet is not for single use”, the first initiative of the eponymous Generation &Repeat movement.

During two days, workshops, talks, culinary and cultural experiences will be offered to raise awareness about the plastic pollution generated by food delivery and takeaway.
Conducted jointly with Not So Dark and its consumer brands, this “Our Planet is not for single use” operation aims to present an alternative path and the possible greening of individual and collective practices, including in the restaurant industry.

– WORKSHOPS –
Awareness-raising workshops, designed by La Maison Upcycling.
Parent/child workshops to create characters from recycled materials, an “Upcycled board games” animation for all ages (on both days of the event), the creation (on 18 March) and exhibition (on 19 March) of upcycled accessories from recycled materials.

– FOOD –
Present on both days of the event, this “urban straw hut
installed on the quays of the Seine near the Fluctuart will serve the best recipes of the Not So Dark restaurants, in containers recovered by &Repeat.

– ART –

An upcycled work of art that will come to life under the talented hands of OAKOAK, a committed artist and climate activist.
The masterpiece will be sourced from discarded plastic packaging which, assembled by OAKOAK’s talent, will deliver an ode to nature and humanity. A symbolic message will thus be transmitted: the recovery of food containers can be made possible by a gesture, that of the artist or the citizen, to limit the pollution of our Earth and its oceans.
