Speedy Graphito invests Fluctuart through an immersive optical-play experience created exceptionally for the art center. The exhibition La Grande Illusion immerses us in an experimental journey towards a decoding, a discovery and a rereading of the image in all its forms. An exceptional opportunity to discover an essential urban art artist.

In a world where the image is predominant, where the gaze is formatted and controlled, where reality and fiction disturb the mind, Speedy Graphito offers us a perspective on what is and what is not, on what exists or not and on all the metamorphoses of perception. The spectator then becomes the missing element of the work and the justification of his presence gives it its existence.

The apprehension of space, the interference of rhythms and colors, the effects of surprise are there to make us experience a unique adventure and discover different facets of the artist’s universe. The exhibition will bring together a dozen works that trick our gaze with a succession of recent installations.

The image will be present in all its forms: 8-bit pixels, video games from our childhood, the volume of recent paintings, the animated holographic image… A new way of understanding the world of yesterday and of today through an immersive and sensory approach.

Speedy Graphito is a contemporary artist. He is one of the pioneers of the street art movement since the beginning of the 80s. A painter above all, Speedy Graphito explores, diverts, mixes, and experiences art in all its forms in search of a new, original expression. For him, art is an endless quest, an inexhaustible source of inspiration, a constant questioning that pushes him to constantly renew himself.

Speedy Graphito places art at the heart of his life and the world around him. He advocates the expression of a popular and committed art, conducive to reflection and introspection.

An insatiable explorer, Speedy Graphito likes to surprise by tirelessly proposing new avenues of research. His works tell the story of his journey, his experience, with all the sincerity and modesty that inhabit him.
