FONDATION DESPERADOS LAUNCHES THE SECOND ROUND OF SHARED IMPRESSIONS

From 15 November to 12 December 2021, the Desperados Foundation for Urban Art is renewing its IMPRESSIONS PARTAGÉES project for a second season. In collaboration with 4 associations that bring urban art to life in the region, the Foundation supports the work of 16 emerging urban artists from 4 French cities, inviting them to create an original work, screen printed in about 60 copies that will be offered to the general public. Pursuing its mission to support creation, and after a first edition that was a real success with the public, the Desperados Foundation for Urban Art is renewing in the autumn IMPRESSIONS PARTAGÉES: a singular project highlighting the vitality of urban art, its multidisciplinarity, its local roots throughout France, its actors and its new generation of talented artists. This year, it is with 4 associations that bring urban art to life in the region, notably through the organisation of events for the general public, that the Foundation wished to associate itself. Together, they have selected 4 emerging artists in each of the following 4 cities: Lille, Besançon, Grenoble and Toulouse. The 16 artists were given carte blanche to create an original work that will be printed in an edition of sixty copies, numbered and signed. In a spirit of generosity and sharing dear to the milieu, the 1000 serigraphs will be given to the general public free of charge. Between 15 November and 12 December 2021, the French will be able to try to win one of the shared prints on the Foundation’s website, via an online reservation module (subject to availability).
