5 years after his first retrospective exhibition in France,
“Time Capsule”, which marked the inauguration of FLUCTUART,
SWOON returns to Paris for the Paralympic Games and the poster project she signed for Visa.
On this occasion, FLUCTUART is pleased to welcome SWOON around a Masterclass led by Nicolas Laugero Lasserre.

Swoon will present her journey, from her practice of street art in New York in the early 2000s to her most recent project, “The Sibylant Sisters”, an animated film combining autobiography and fiction, stop motion, scale puppets human and real actors.
Swoon is recognized worldwide for her pioneering vision of street art. Her critical engagement with issues of social and environmental justice has placed her at the forefront of the emerging discourse on socially engaged practice.
Galerie LJ will also present its new solo exhibition in Paris this September (opening on Friday September 6). One of his monumental works is also currently visible at the Petit Palais in the exhibition “We Are Here” (until November 17).
