Banksy strikes again

This July 14, the mysterious Banksy posted a video on his Instagram account of his latest intervention on the London Underground. Masked and wearing overalls, the artist poses as a train cleaner to apply his stencils.

While the coronavirus is still with us, Banksy is campaigning for the wearing of masks on public transport, with a strong message: "If you don't wear a mask, you haven't understood a thing." In the UK, wearing a mask will only be compulsory in shops from July 24.

Several stencils depicting his famous rats were applied, one sneezing, leaving a bluish trail, another using a mask as a parachute, while a third covered his snout with it.

The London transport company has a strict policy against graffiti, and has already removed the entire intervention; it is, however, still visible on the artist's Instagram account.
