Paris Plage celebrates street art!

Every weekend, the Urban Art Crew association offers free guided tours of the Henri IV tunnel, to help visitors discover the work to be created from July 17 to August 11 by Parisian graffiti legend Babs.

With the artists working at night, guided tours will enable the public to admire the progress of this monumental mural and delve into the history of street-art in Paris. Echoing the surfing events of the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, which will take place on the mythical Teahupo'o spot in Tahiti, this year Paris Plages takes on the colors of French Polynesia. For the occasion, Parisian street artist Babs will create a monumental work of art in the Henri IV tunnel.

Spearheaded by the Urban Art Crew association, the 1750m2 project will showcase Parisian graffiti and Babs' raw, urban "Paris". Babs, a pillar of graffiti vandalism, has been painting for almost 30 years.
