CIRCUIT COURT, the exhibition of the Collectif 624, opens its doors Friday, June 18, 2021, at 5 pm on the 1st floor of the DOCKS VAUBAN, a space of 1200 m².
The exhibition is curated by Cyrille Gouyette (art historian, urban art specialist, author of Sous le street art, Le Louvre, Ed. Gallimard – Alternatives, 2019). In reality, Circuit Court is much more than an exhibition. It is the writing of a virtuous model between modes of consumption and processes of artistic creation. This exhibition seals an unprecedented partnership that allows the creation of a temporary museum space dedicated to urban-contemporary art, in the heart of a place of mass consumption.
Through Circuit court, the artists : Jean-Baptiste Perrot, Joachim Romain, Quentin DMR, Ratur and Sckaro from the 624 collective will present monumental immersive installations made with materials from the activities of the shopping center. The exhibition will evoke the origin and transformation of these materials, and will question the mechanics and habits of mass consumption.
