The 1st original video game created in collaboration with a French street-artist! We are expecting you to celebrate the official release of Zdey The Game at Fluctuart’s Bookshop on Wednesday, September 15th from 6pm.
After the successful participatory financing of their Kiss Kiss Bank campaign at over 185%, Art’cade has co-created the sequel of the game with over 200 participants.
It is during this event that the game developed for Nintendo console (NES) will be unveiled to the public and playable on the retrogaming terminal in limited edition Zdey The Game.
Zdey The Game is the meeting between Art’cade and Tim Zdey, a Parisian street artist.
Antonin and Kevin, two retro-gaming enthusiasts, gave the artist carte blanche to create the first Art’cade game terminal: “Zdey The Game”.
WHAT IS ZDEY THE GAME?
This video game is a mini 2D platformer with big pixels as we like them, where the player embodies Zdey – your mischievous alter ego – in a first quest of the Parisian subway. But before arriving at the mythical Train Yard, you’ll have to smash the granny and bribe the dog owners you meet along the way.
We won’t spoil the rest of the game and we’ll let you discover it during the event.
But Zdey The Game is also collaborations with many artists: LeDania, Pez, Chanoir, Bebar, Jo Ber, Mr Poes, Nasty, Tanc , Astro, L’atlas and Le Diamantaire.
