From May 29 to June 13, we will host the PRIX D’ART URBAIN PÉBÉO exhibition, which brings together the works of 36 emerging artists discovered in the 5th edition of the international MIXED MEDIA competition.
Since 2016, the MIXED MEDIA competition has been encouraging the discovery of talent in the contemporary art scene. For this 5th edition, the competition highlights urban art.
The main objective of the prize organised by Pébéo, a colour manufacturer, is to promote French and foreign artists. The competition was open to artists from the street art and graffiti scene, all techniques included (painting, stencil, collage, mosaic, sculpture…) in order to highlight emerging street art artists.
An international competition that arouses enthusiasm
The call for entries took place over 3 months and closed on 15 March with 450 participants. 36 artists from 12 countries were selected and will be exhibited on Fluctuart from 29 May to 13 June.
On Wednesday 9 June, the first 3 winners will receive the following prizes
– 1st prize: €5,000
– 2nd prize: €3,000
– 3rd prize: €2,000
Encouraging and stimulating artistic creation
This 5th edition of the MIXED MEDIA competition, launched on an international scale, is a meeting place for artists who like to use mixed techniques, developed by Pebeo: mixing, innovating, drawing, painting, gluing using different paints and products with innovative effects, and thus going beyond the classic framework of creation!
New works created for this occasion, to be discovered in an exceptional setting dedicated to urban art on the Seine, Fluctuart.
