Le Grand Jeu and Fluctuart are pleased to welcome Cyrille Gouyette and Nicolas Laugero Lasserre, for a round table discussion around the exhibition “Veni, Vidi, Vinci. Urban art facing genius” extended until June 21 on Fluctuart.
On the occasion of the extension of the exhibition, a conference will be held to discover the behind-the-scenes of the exhibition “Veni Vidi Vinci. Urban art facing genius”, thanks to a meeting with its curator, Cyrille Gouyette, and the artistic director of Fluctuart, Nicolas Laugero Lasserre, as well as with some of the artists whose works are presented.
Who else but Leonardo da Vinci embodied artistic innovation, unbridled creativity, and curiosity about the world around him, to the point that during his lifetime, the greats of this world disputed his works and his person? Other times, other customs, today it is urban art that carries this creative impulse and brings a wind of change, democratic this time. If we had to name the most famous of them, whose works we have torn away, it would inevitably be Banksy. But he is only the tree that hides the immense and prolific forest of artists who now invade our daily lives and our environment in a creative bidding war. It is here that we propose you to discover, through this homage and these diversions addressed to the Florentine genius by the fine flower of the urban artists, whose extremely varied artistic forms now invite themselves with pleasure in the heart of the greatest cultural institutions.
