CIRCUIT COURT, Collectif 624's exhibition, opens on Friday June 18, 2021, at 5pm on the 1st floor of DOCKS VAUBAN, a 1200 m² space.
The exhibition is curated by Cyrille Gouyette (art historian, urban art specialist, author of Sous le street art, Le Louvre, Ed. Gallimard - Alternatives, 2019). In reality, Circuit Court is much more than an exhibition. It's the writing of a virtuous model between modes of consumption and processes of artistic creation. This exhibition seals an unprecedented partnership that enables the creation of a temporary museum space dedicated to urban-contemporary art, at the heart of a place of mass consumption.
Through Circuit court, artists : Jean-Baptiste Perrot, Joachim Romain, Quentin DMR, Ratur and Sckaro from the 624 collective will present monumental immersive installations using materials from the mall's activities. The exhibition will evoke the origin and transformation of these materials, and question the mechanics and habits of mass consumption.
