Urban Art Fair to be held June 10-13, 2021

Urban Art Fair returns from June 10 to 13, 2021, under the glass roof of the Carreau du Temple. Over the three days, some forty French and international galleries will showcase more than 100 artists from the international urban art scene.

During the fair, visitors will have the opportunity to explore a rich program of events, including outdoor installations, children's workshops, an online catalog, limited editions, private tours, book signings, and performances.

For the first time this year, Urban Art Fair will take place both physically and digitally thanks to a partnership with Artsper, the online marketplace for contemporary art. For this occasion, an Urban Art Fair catalog will be created on the platform to promote the digital promotion of the works.

Urban Art Fair will also be vibrant in the forecourt of the Carreau du Temple. Thanks to a collaboration with the association Le MUR, four panels will be erected in front of the main entrance of the Carreau du Temple. Four artists will paint starting Friday, May 21st, in the presence of the public, who will be able to appreciate the different styles and techniques specific to each of them.

Outdoor sculpture: French artist Brusk will present, like a totem, a major work echoing current events and carrying in volume the colors of the official visual of Urban Art Fair | Paris 2021: The Power of Culture . Swiss artist Simon Berger will present a giant glass cube, in which, using his favorite tool, the hammer, he will have previously “engraved” a portrait.

Children's workshops and guided family tours are planned throughout the fair, in partnership with the Musée en Herbe (the only museum for ages 3 to 103) and Pébéo (supply of creative leisure items).

The image of the fair

This year, the Urban Art Fair will offer two editions for sale at the fair. Following on from the 2020 edition, Stanley Donwood's work Paris Apocalypse has been transformed by the artist into "Paris Rainbows Apocalypse" as a symbol of hope.

The work The Power of Culture , created by the French artist Brusk, embodies both the void that has been present for over a year, the lack of visibility for art but also this notion of hope that we find in the work of Stanley Donwood. The hope offered by creation that always surpasses crises, since it knows how to feed on them and helps us to move forward, to find colors again…
