▶ Spotlighting emerging street art artists

For two months, from 22 June to 20 August, Fluctuart will be hosting the Pébéo-Fluctuart Urban Art Prize exhibition. This exhibition will bring together the work of 25 emerging artists from the street art scene, discovered as part of the 7th edition of the Pébéo-Fluctuart international competition. Since 2016, the competition has been encouraging the discovery of talent on the contemporary and urban art scene. The aim of this urban art prize organised by Pébéo and Fluctuart is to promote the work of young emerging artists from France and abroad. The competition is open to artists from the street art and graffiti scene, using all techniques (painting, stencilling, collage, mosaic, sculpture, etc.).

▶ An international competition to get everyone excited!

The call for entries ran for 3 months and closed on 31 March 2023, with almost 300 participants. 25 artists from 12 countries were selected and will be exhibited on Fluctuart from 22 June to 27 August. On Wednesday 21 June, the first 3 winners will be awarded the following prizes:
1st prize: €5,000
2nd prize: €3,000
3rd prize: €2,000

▶ Encouraging and stimulating artistic creation

This 7th edition of the Pébéo-Fluctuart Urban Art Prize, launched on an international scale, is the place to be for artists who like to use the mixed techniques developed by Pébéo: mixing, innovating, drawing, painting, gluing using different paints and products with innovative effects, and thus going beyond the traditional framework of creation!

▶ Inspiration 2023: water

From the Mediterranean to the Seine, Pébéo and Fluctuart share water as their DNA. As a source of life, preserving it is at the heart of today’s ecological concerns, a major challenge for our century. As a natural boundary between territories, water can be a gateway to a coveted and sometimes idealised world, as evidenced by the flow of migrants and goods. Urban art, militant by nature, has often been in the vanguard in mobilising opinion on a wide range of issues: anti-capitalism, feminism, ecology, etc. Today, we’re inviting artists to interpret the issue of water through the prism of their choice, for an exhibition firmly rooted in today’s world.
